This Privacy Policy explains what InterviewGuru ("the app", "we") collects, why, and what your choices are. InterviewGuru is developed by Dahi Tech ("we", "us").
1. Data we collect

You do not create an account and we never ask for your name, e-mail address or phone number in order to use the app. The only place such details appear is a CV you choose to build: whatever you type into its contact fields is stored with that CV so you can edit and export it, and you can delete it at any time. If you contact support by e-mail we use your address only to reply.
2. Artificial intelligence
CV reviews, text improvements, interview questions and evaluations are produced by a large language model (OpenAI API) called from our server. Only the text needed for the request is sent (your CV text or your answers, your target role and level). According to OpenAI's API data-usage policy, data sent through the API is not used to train their models. AI output can be wrong or incomplete; it is guidance, not professional career or legal advice.
3. Voice input
When you use the microphone in a mock interview, speech is converted to text by the speech-recognition service of your device platform (Apple Speech / Google speech services). Audio is not stored by us; only the resulting text is kept as your answer.
4. Advertising and consent
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent through a consent form before any ad is requested; you can change your choice at any time under Profile → Settings → Ad privacy options. On iOS we request App Tracking Transparency permission; if you decline, ads are not personalised using your IDFA. Premium removes ads entirely.
5. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Performance of a contract: providing lessons, quizzes, CV tools, mock interviews, purchases.
- Consent: personalised advertising, push notifications, tracking (where required).
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, crash reporting, aggregate analytics.
6. Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete everything from the app at any time (Profile → Delete my data); this removes your profile, progress, CVs, reviews and interview history from our servers, and Premium status is re-linked to your store account only. One thing is deliberately kept: the per-device installation identifier described above, so the free welcome credits stay a one-time offer per device. It is not linked to your deleted profile in any way that identifies you. Crash and analytics data are retained by Google according to their default retention periods (up to 14 months for Analytics).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app; for anything else e-mail support@dahitech.io. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. International transfers
Our servers run on Google Cloud (Firebase) in the region shown in our project settings; some providers (OpenAI, Google, RevenueCat, OneSignal) process data in the United States under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
9. Children
InterviewGuru is intended for job seekers aged 18 and over and is not directed to children or minors. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
